Refunds & Returns Policy | Art by Peggy
Thanks so much for choosing to support my artwork! I put a lot of love and care into everything I create, and I want you to feel confident in your purchase. This policy is here to explain how I handle refunds, exchanges, and what to do if something’s not quite right.
Change of Mind
Because each piece is made or printed just for you, whether it's a one-of-a-kind original or a high-quality print, I’m unable to offer refunds or exchanges due to a change of mind. I encourage you to choose thoughtfully, and if you have any questions at all before purchasing, please get in touch at peggy@artbypeggy.com.au. I’m always happy to help.
Custom Artwork
I absolutely love creating custom pieces! Before I begin, we’ll have a good chat to make sure I understand your vision clearly. Once the creative process starts, refunds aren’t available, so clear communication at the beginning is key. I'm here to ensure you're comfortable and confident before we begin.
Damaged Deliveries
I take great care in packaging, but if your artwork arrives damaged, I’ll do everything I can to make it right.
Please follow these steps:
Take clear photos of the packaging and any visible damage.
Take photos of the artwork itself, showing the damage clearly.
Email the photos and a brief description to peggy@artbypeggy.com.au within 7 days of delivery.
Please don’t attempt to fix or alter the item, I’ll need it in the condition it arrived to assess and resolve the issue properly.
Digital Downloads
Due to the nature of digital products, I’m not able to offer refunds or exchanges once the file has been downloaded. If you have trouble accessing your file or there’s an issue with the artwork, please reach out, I’ll gladly help troubleshoot and make sure you receive what you paid for.
Artwork Descriptions & Colour Accuracy
I do my best to photograph and describe each piece as accurately as possible, but please keep in mind that colours can look different depending on your screen or device. Slight variations are normal and aren’t considered faults.
Lost Orders
If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe, or appears to be lost in transit, please get in touch. I’ll work with you and the delivery provider to investigate the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Natural Ageing of Art
Art can gently evolve over time, especially originals. Changes in texture or colour are a natural part of the aging process and are not considered faults. If you ever need advice on how to care for your piece, I’m more than happy to help, just reach out.
Copyright & Ownership
All artwork, including digital files, prints, and originals, is created by me, Peggy Latter, and remains my intellectual property. Purchasing a piece does not give you permission to reproduce, sell, or distribute the image in any form without prior written consent.
Artwork Care
If you’re unsure about how to look after your new artwork, whether it’s framing, cleaning, or the best way to display it, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to share tips to help your piece stay beautiful for years to come.

Thank you so much for choosing Art by Peggy. I’m thrilled to share my work with you and want your experience to be smooth from checkout to delivery. Below is everything you need to know about how I pack, ship, and handle orders.
Original Artworks – Within Australia
All original acrylic paintings are carefully packaged and shipped within 1–2 weeks of your order, unless otherwise noted in the listing. If you need your piece sooner, please email me at peggy@artbypeggy.com.au to discuss express shipping options. Extra charges may apply for rush orders.
Print Orders – Within Australia
All prints are made to order through trusted professional printing partners. Estimated production and dispatch times are:
Rolled/Unframed Prints: 1–2 weeks
Stretched or Framed Canvas Prints: 2–3 weeks
During peak times (especially October to December), please allow extra time for production and delivery. I recommend ordering early for gifts or special occasions.
International Shipping – Original Art
If you're located outside Australia and would like to purchase an original painting, I’m happy to arrange international shipping. Please email peggy@artbypeggy.com.au with your location, and I’ll provide a personalised shipping quote.
International Shipping – Prints
Prints are available for international delivery as well. Estimated timelines are:
Rolled/Unframed Prints: Dispatched in 1–2 weeks
Delivery Time: Typically between 15–27 business days, depending on the destination
Please note: Any import duties, taxes, or customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the purchase price.
Packaging and Protection
Every item is packaged with great care to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
Original artworks are wrapped securely and boxed with protective materials.
Prints, whether rolled or framed, are also packed to prevent damage in transit.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days so we can sort out a resolution. You can refer to my Refunds & Returns Policy for more details.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, I’ll email you a tracking number (where available) so you can follow your delivery.
Shipping Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping details before placing your order. I can’t take responsibility for lost or delayed parcels due to incorrect addresses. If you notice a mistake, please contact me straight away so I can make the correction before dispatch.
Sale Items
All sale or discounted items are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Discounted pricing only applies to orders placed during the designated sale period.
Delivery Delays, Lost Parcels, and Unexpected Issues
While I do my very best to get your artwork to you on time, sometimes delays occur due to weather, public holidays, courier issues, or other events outside of my control. I appreciate your patience in these cases.
If your package appears lost in transit, contact me as soon as possible. I’ll assist in lodging an inquiry with the carrier. Please understand that once your order has left my studio, responsibility for its safe delivery lies with the shipping company.

This website is operated by Art by Peggy. Throughout the site, the terms “I”, “me”, and “my” refer to Peggy Latter, the artist behind Art by Peggy.

2. What I Offer
My shop includes:
Digital downloads of my original artwork (for personal or licensed commercial use)
Fine art prints made with love and care
One-of-a-kind original paintings
Each listing includes clear details about what you’re buying whether it’s a digital file you download instantly, a physical print I post to you, or a hand-painted original also posted to you.
3. Digital Downloads
Digital downloads are delivered instantly after payment. These are high-resolution files for personal use unless stated otherwise. No physical item will be shipped for digital products.
If your item includes a commercial license, the details and terms will be included in the download folder. Otherwise, digital purchases are for personal use only.
4. Prints & Originals
I take great care in packaging and shipping both fine art prints and original works. Please allow time for printing (if made to order), and shipping delays beyond my control (like Australia Post hiccups) may occasionally occur.

5. Refunds & Returns
Digital Downloads: Due to the nature of instant downloads, I can’t offer refunds on digital files. If something’s wrong with the file or you have trouble accessing it, please contact me, I’ll make it right.
Prints & Originals: I don’t accept returns for change of mind, but if your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of delivery with photos so I can sort it out.
6. Copyright & Usage
All artwork, images, and designs on this site are the property of Peggy Latter / Art by Peggy.
Personal use means you can print the artwork for your home, as a gift, or for your own enjoyment.
Commercial use is only permitted if you’ve purchased a licensed version or received written permission.
You may not resell, share, or reproduce my artwork for profit without a commercial license. If you’d like to use my work in a bigger way (like for a brand, product line, or business), please get in touch to discuss licensing options.

I may update these Terms now and then to reflect changes in my business or offerings. Please check back occasionally to stay informed.

Caring for Your Original Artwork
Each original piece I paint is created with high-quality acrylics on canvas and is made to last but like all fine art, a little care goes a long way in keeping it looking its best for years to come.
Here are a few simple tips to help protect your new artwork:
1. Keep it out of direct sunlight Acrylics are quite durable, but over time, strong and direct sunlight can cause fading or warping. Try to hang your piece in a spot with soft, indirect light.
2. Avoid moisture and humidity Hang your artwork in a dry area away from bathrooms or kitchens where steam and moisture can cause damage to the canvas or framing.
3. Dust it gently Use a clean, soft cloth or a feather duster to remove any dust. Avoid using cleaning sprays, water, or cloths with texture, as they can scratch the surface.
4. Handle with care When moving your piece, be sure to lift it from both sides and avoid touching the painted surface directly. Always carry it upright and avoid placing pressure on the canvas.
5. Framing (if unframed) If your original artwork arrives unframed, I recommend visiting a professional framer to give it the presentation it deserves. A good frame not only elevates the piece but also protects it.
6. Long-term storage (if needed) If you need to store your artwork for a period of time, keep it in a clean, dry place. Store it upright (not flat) and never stack other items on top.

Canvas Print Details
My canvas prints are created with care and quality in mind so they’re not just beautiful to look at, but made to last.
Each one is printed using archival-quality inks on luxurious 385gsm poly-cotton canvas, giving a rich, vibrant finish that really brings the colours to life, just like in the original painting.
Every canvas print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by me, so you know you’re receiving a genuine piece from my collection.
Framed Canvas Orders
If you choose a framed canvas, your artwork will arrive ready to hang professionally stretched, strung on the back, and all set to go straight on your wall. No extra fuss, just instant joy.
(Note: If you select the “rolled/tube” option at checkout, your print will arrive unframed.)
Rolled Canvas Orders
Rolled canvas prints are a great choice if you’d prefer to handle framing yourself, or if you're having your piece shipped internationally. These arrive carefully rolled in a protective tube and include a 5cm white canvas border around the artwork. This makes it easy for your local framer to stretch the piece over bars without losing any part of the image.
Example:
If you order a 100 x 100 cm artwork, the actual image size is 100 x 100 cm — but the canvas you receive will measure 110 x 110 cm in total, giving that essential extra space (5 cm on each side) for wrapping around stretcher bars.

Paper Print Details
If you love the look and feel of fine art on paper, my paper prints are a lovely way to bring colour and joy into your space.
Each piece is printed using archival quality inks on 320gsm cotton rag paper, which has a beautiful soft texture and a premium, matte finish that really does the artwork justice.
These prints are rich in colour, full of detail, and made to last perfect for gifting, decorating your home, or brightening up a creative corner.
Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by me, so you can be confident you're receiving a genuine Art by Peggy piece.
Sizing & Borders
All paper prints include a 5 cm white border around the artwork. This gives you and your framer the option to either keep the border visible for a matted look or trim it to suit your frame.
For example, if the artwork is 100 x 100 cm, it will be printed on paper measuring 110 x 110 cm in total, that’s 5 cm of extra paper on each edge.
Packaging & Delivery
Paper prints are shipped carefully rolled in a strong mailing tube, protected with acid-free tissue to keep them safe and flat. I don’t currently offer framing for paper prints, as many of my customers prefer to choose a frame that suits their own space and style and I think that’s part of the fun.
